Waxing is a preferred hair removal method for many, as it lasts longer than shaving by pulling the hair out from the root. Waxing can result in silky smooth skin that lasts for up to eight weeks.

Between each waxing appointment, you will see the amount of regrowth reduced, and in many cases, you may experience slower growth and finer hair in the waxed area.

While you may experience a little bit of pain with your first wax, the pain you experience will get better over time.

1. Grow Hair Out to Certain Length – Ideally, you should allow three to four weeks of hair growth without shaving prior to your appointment
2. Let us know if you’re on Doctor-prescribed skin care products – This will ensure we treat your skin correctly and avoid any irritations
3. Exfoliate Skin – Gently exfoliate your skin a day or two before your appointment. This will help the wax to grab your hair, and not your skin.
4. Pain Killers – Some clients may choose to take pain killers prior to their appointment to ease any pain.
